"There's been another bombing at a toll road gate," a senior police officer told reporters outside the JW Marriott hotel in central Jakarta which was bombed earlier in the morning along with the nearby Ritz-Carlton.

TV One quoted police as saying the explosion in the Muara Angke area, famous for its massive fish market, was caused by a car bomb in a shopping complex.

It was unclear if anyone was killed in the third bombing. At least nine people were killed in the hotel attacks, according to police.
