Seven people were killed and 15 wounded in two powerful landmine blasts in Pakistan's south-west Balochistan province, media reports said on Saturday.

"Five people were killed on the spot when a passenger van blew up after hitting a landmine in Sui district," a senior police officer told the
Dawn
newspaper.
Another person succumbed to injuries in the hospital, where four of the 13 wounded were said to be in critical condition.
In the same area, an anti-personnel landmine planted on a road exploded as a child stepped on it. He died on the spot, and his parents were severely wounded.
No one has accepted responsibility. Baloch rebels seeking autonomy and greater shares of the province's oil and gas wealth have waged a guerrilla campaign against security forces for nearly three years.
