Lockheed Martin Corp has been awarded a $596 million Air Force contract for work on six C-130J aircraft destined for India.

Lockheed Martin Corp has been awarded a $596 million Air Force contract for work on six C-130J aircraft destined for India, the Defense Department announced on Friday.
India is buying the aircraft through the US government's foreign military sales program.
