Two people were killed and 13 wounded in a grenade attack in southwestern Colombia, authorities said on Sunday.

The attack happened on Saturday night when two people on a motorcycle threw a grenade at a small grocery shop, killing one person on the spot and wounding a dozen others.

Police then chased the suspects, who threw another grenade that killed one policeman and wounded another.
Authorities said the motive was likely drug-related as the killings occurred in an area notorious for narcotics trafficking.
