VRS proposal for Nepal ex-king’s men

After almost eight months of King Gyanendra’s exit from the Narayanhity Palace, the Nepal Govt is now keen to offer voluntary retirement proposal to the ex-royal workforce, reports Anirban Roy.

After almost eight months of King Gyanendra’s exit from the Narayanhity Palace, the Nepal government is now keen to offer voluntary retirement proposal to the ex-royal workforce.

Ever since the departure of Gyanendra, the fate of about 500 ex-royal employees were uncertain. They also did not have any work.

Now, the government has decided to offer retirement proposal to those employees who are more than 50 years of age or have completed 20 years of services.
