Saklecha, who was among the first few people who raised the PEB scam several years ago, said when the government was aware as early as in 2009 about the scam, it should have taken action.

“They didn't take action and it shows that the government was complicit. Everyone at the top-the decision-makers in the polity and bureaucracy must be quizzed if not arrested,” he said.

“Former controller of examination, PEB, Sudhir Bhadoria, hasn't been arrested. Many high-profile accused are yet to be caught. The former chairpersons of the board were not arrested or quizzed, with the exception of Ranjana Chaudhary, who is also being saved as STF intends to make her a prosecution witness,” Saklecha further said.
