But Abhishek claims the two have been friends for years, just like their fathers, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth. And when they meet, the two actors jam together on hip-hop songs, like Abhishek’s track in Bluffmaster.

At the event, Abhishek Jr. even bonded with the star of the night Tom Cruise, whom he knows from trips to Los Angeles

with wife Aishwarya Rai.



The two chatted through the night, and Abhishek was one of the few who stayed for the entire film, because he and Dhanush are huge fans of the franchise. And among the fans screaming for Tom, there seemed to be a larger number gushing about Abhishek, who was promoting his film, Players.

Two girls even got past the security barricades and when the actor saw them, he obliged them with pictures on the red carpet.
