“The team wanted to make her character appear a bit edgy, in terms of her look as well as her dialogue. So, Sanjay — who is working with writers Robin Bhatt and Kamlesh Pandey for the first time since his debut film, Aatish (1994) — asked the writers to come up with sharp punchlines for Aishwarya’s character,” says an insider.

The writers made note of this, and have apparently come up with interesting lines, for the actor. “Sanjay has asked his team to keep even the other actors’ lines edgy, the way they did for Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Pancholi’s characters in Aatish. The audience will see a very fiery Aishwarya on screen. It will be an interesting surprise for her fans as she has never been seen in such a role,” adds the insider.

When we contacted Gupta, he refused to get into details. He said, “After Aatish, it’s the first time that we three have come together as a team. I can only say that we have tried hard to keep the dialogue true to the character’s graph.”
