The release of actor Ajay Devgn’s film Baadshaho has been pushed to avoid it clashing at the box office with actor Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil next year.
Ajay’s film was initially scheduled to release on January 26, but will now hit screens on May 12, 2017.
“I’ve been told that Ritesh Sidhwani and Rakesh Roshan (producers of the other films Raees and Kaabil) called Bhushan (Kumar; producer of Baadshaho) requesting him to move the release date. We discussed and decided to shift it to May 12,” the film’s director Milan Luthria told Mumbai Mirror.
Ajay Devgn was last seen in a cameo in Katrina Kaif-Aditiya Roy Kapur starrer Fitoor, which released earlier this year. His next, Shivaay, is slated for release on October 28.
