Beating Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has grabbed the highest number of votes to play renowned politician Balasaheb Thackeray in the biopic Saheb.
Recently, a leading entertainment website conducted a poll among four actors Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee.

The biopic, is currently in its pre-production phase and would go on floors by October this year.
Under the banner Rahul Productions, the biopic on Balasaheb Thackeray would be produced by his daughter-in-law Smita Thackeray.
