The shooting of the Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif-starrer Bang Bang has finally come to an end. The makers had finished shooting the film last month, but were left with a promotional song that they were finally able to wrap, thanks to Hrithik, who pushed himself to get it done despite his knee injury. “Hrithik was injured and was in pain for quite some time, due to which the makers had held the shoot of the dance number. But it was shot recently, at a suburban studio,” reveals a source close to the actor.
Hrithik had even posted a picture of his injured knee on a microblogging site, with the caption: "Feeling bionic. When in pain take urself out of the equation. Focus outward. Serve! Be more. (sic)" on September 4.
He, however, didn’t let the shoot get delayed further, and attended the rehearsals as regularly as possible. "Hrithik didn’t pay much heed to his injury, and finished the shoot on time," says the source. When contacted, the spokesperson of the production house backing the film confirmed the news.

The film is due to release early next month, and is the official remake of the Hollywood film, Knight and Day (2010), that starred Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
