Behen Hogi Teri song: Jaanu Meri Jaan gets a new ‘refix’

A new song from Behen Hogi Teri, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan, is making its mark on the internet for its retro look. Some portions of the song, rapped and sung by Raftaar, are shot in a disco and feature Shruti in a never-before-seen look.

The makers of Rajkummar Rao-Shruti Haasan-starrer Behen Hogi Teri have revealed the latest song of the upcoming film and it certainly is ruling the internet with a million views on YouTube.

The new song is a “refix” version of the hit song Jaanu Meri Jaan from Shaan (1980).

For the latest version, Rishi Rich has worked on the “refix”. Juggy D and Shivi have sung the song and Raftaar, who penned down the rap portions, has also lent his voice. While some portions of the new song are shot in a disco, Rajkummar and Shruti have donned retro for some shots.

The original song was picturised on Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Bindiya Goswami and Parveen Babi. Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi sung the song.

Behen Hogi Teri stars Rajkummar Rao, Shruti Haasan, Gautam Gulati, Gulshan Grover, Ranjeet. The film, helmed by Ajay K. Pannalal, is slated for a May 26 release.
