Bollywood actor Bobby Darling, one of the actors who often portray gay characters in Bollywood movies and on television, got married to her long-time boyfriend and Bhopal-based businessman, Ramneek Sharma, in a private ceremony earlier this month.

Bobby Darling and Ramneek Sharma have had a steady relationship for a long time.

Reports on Wednesday claimed that the former contestant of Bigg Boss season 1 tied the knot in Bhopal. Bobby aka Pankaj Sharma has also changed her name to Pakhi after the ceremony. The couple had a traditional ceremony on February 8 at a temple in Bhopal, and then registered their marriage on February 11. Bobby is 43-year-old, while Ramneek is 28. Ramneek is the owner of a cineplex in Bhopal.

The Times of India quoted a source as saying that the couple has bought an apartment in Bhopal and plan to shift there.

Bobby has worked in several Bollywood films like Chalte Chalte and Fashion, and TV shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kyunki Saas Bahu Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahin Kissi Roz. In 2010, Bobby underwent a surgery for breast implants and completed her transformation into a woman. Before the transition, her name appeared in the Limca Book of Records for having essayed 18 gay characters by the time she was 23 years old.
