Dear Zindagi take 4: Will Alia take SRK’s suggestions seriously?
The new promo shows a young Kaaya dealing with a breakup, while Jag explaining the reasons behind our social understanding of love and relationships.
The makers of Dear Zindagi have decided to go for several dialogue promos rather than one long trailer. And this unconventional way of promoting the film seems to be working in their favour.
With each promo they are revealing more about the two leading characters of the film, Jag (Shah Rukh Khan) and Kaaya (Alia Bhatt), who are friends despite a wide age gap.
The new promo shows a young Kaaya dealing with a breakup, while Jag explaining the reasons behind our social understanding of love and relationships.
Alia and Shah Rukh recently appeared together on Koffee With Karan where Khan advised her to do the “typical” Bollywood roles as well so that she doesn’t develop a superiority complex as an actor.
Later, Alia talked to reporters about it, “I agree with him that I need to be bad, I don’t want to burn out and don’t want to be a person who is like ‘I only want to do performance (oriented roles). I don’t want to do just that. I also want to have some fun. I am taking his advice very seriously,” she said.
Directed by Gauri Shinde of English Vinglish Fame, Dear Zindagi will hit the screens on November 25, 2016.
