From singing to production, Bollywood actors are dabbling with different tasks at the same time. Actor Taapsee Pannu is not far behind. She has turned into a dialogue writer for her upcoming film Tadka. The actor, along with her co-star Ali Fazal was given the freedom by their director Prakash Raj, and they enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

“It was slightly new for me but totally new for Ali to come up with your own lines. Prakash sir felt an actor, who understands and knows the character well should come up with a lot of lines by him/herself to make the character more real and believable for the audience than mouthing lines written by someone else all the time,” says Pannu.

“As the dialogues were written by Ali and Taapsee, it gave a natural feel to the scenes being shot, and also looked liked normal conversations which the audience could relate with really well,” says a source.

Pannu, who was last seen in the film Baby, alongside Akshay Kumar, enjoyed the experience of taking care of her own dialogues. “I loved this exercise and both Ali and I have tried to make our scenes look interesting and fun. Hope the audience enjoys them as well and hope I get to write for often.”
