Farhan Akhtar amused by talks of rift

Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar seems quite amused with all the buzz around him these days. The lastest being the constant speculation about a rift between him and his Excel Entertainment partner and friend Ritesh Sidhwani.

Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar seems quite amused with all the buzz around him these days. The lastest being the constant speculation about a rift between him and his Excel Entertainment partner and friend Ritesh Sidhwani.

“When we read rumours about differences between us, not only do we laugh as they are untrue, but they encourage us to do what we love the most, make more films,” says Farhan.

At the same time, Ritesh adds that 2011 has been an extremely special year for them for two reasons.

“One, our production house, Excel Entertainment, completed 10 years of its existence. And secondly, both our films, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Don 2, have been very successful at the box office. And more importantly was loved by everyone,” says Ritesh.
