According to the complaint filed by Ullas PR at New Ashok Nagar police station , Sunny pronounced ‘Sindh’ as ‘Sindhu’ during her rendition of the national anthem. The complaint also alleges that two cameraman were moving around when the national anthem was being sung.

Ullhas PR, who makes short films, had also filed a police complaint against actor Amitabh Bachchan, accusing him of taking more time than mandated while singing the national anthem during the Twenty20 World Cup clash between India and Pakistan in March.
