Tagged as India’s first zombie comedy, the film, that released on Friday, is set in the backdrop of Goa, where four friends encounter zombies and struggle to escape.

“We were glad to show Goa government the film because we knew there is nothing derogatory about Goa and that they would see the sense of humour with which we’ve treated everything. We are happy they okayed the film. Goans will get to watch the film,” Nidimoru said.

The film faced the ire of anti-tobacco groups when objection was raised on a poster in which actor Saif Ali Khan was seen holding a cigar.
