I’ve been fascinated by short films: Amy Jackson

Amy Jackson has been approached by an international film-maker for his debut project.

Amy Jackson, who was at the Cannes Film Festival recently, apparently had quite a trip. At one of the parties that the actor attended, she was approached by film-maker Ulosoy Bach to star in a short film. Bach is based in France, and has a production house in Los Angeles, USA. He has only produced films so far, and this is the first movie that he will direct.

An insider says, “He got in touch with her publicist, who will be taking this forward. He approached her for a role in a short movie, which is a love story. It will be shown at festivals, and will be launched on social-media platforms.”

The insider adds that Amy will be playing the lead in the yet-untitled film, and there will be two male actors cast opposite her. The insider says, “She will shoot for it in August, as she is filming two other movies in India at the moment. The film will be shot in France.”

When contacted, Amy says, “I’ve been offered a short film, and it’s a lovely script. As an actor, I’ve always been fascinated by short films. It’s going to be a different experience altogether, and I’m taking it up.”
