Dhadak stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter won the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence award at the ceremony held in Mumbai. Check out the pics.

Young Bollywood actors Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, Pranutan Bahl, among several others attended the Dadasaheb Phalke awards Saturday, held to honour artists in the world of cinema. While young talent was recognised and awarded, the unofficial dress code at the event seemed to be saris – everyone from Janhvi to Kajol and Kubbra Sait wore the traditional attire for the occasion.

Dhadak stars Janhvi and Ishaan won the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence award at the ceremony, held in Mumbai. Janhvi, the eldest daughter of late actor Sridevi, was a vision in her red Manish Malhotra sari, which she paired with a necklace. Ishaan, on the other hand, wore an all-white ensemble and looked quite elegant.

Saqib Saleem and Kubbra Sait won the digital sensation of the year, male and female awards, for Rangbaaz and Sacred Games, respectively. While Saqib wore a maroon bandhghala, Kubbra wore a white sari.

TV actor Sumona Chakraborty also won an award at the event, where she wore an off-white sari and looked gorgeous as she posed with her award. Badhaai Ho actor Surekha Sikri and director Amit Sharma also won awards for the movie.

Actor Kajol was snapped with newcomer Pranutan at the red carpet. Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan, singer Udit Narayan, actors Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khuranna were also spotted, among others.
