We now know that Khan, along with co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan, will be in the Valley around February — March to shoot a "major portion" of his maiden home production, that is being directed by Kabir Khan.

"Kabir was always clear that he needed to shoot a portion in Kashmir. And when he discussed it with Salman, he immediately agreed. No one is worried or stressed about working in the Valley," says an insider, adding, "It goes without saying that if Salman will be shooting; all the security arrangements will be in place albeit without disturbing locals at all."

When contacted, Kabir, confirms: "Yes, we will be travelling to Kashmir for a month-long schedule."
