Bollywod actor-comedian Razak Khan died on Wednesday following a heart attack. The actor, best known for his roles in films like Raja Hindustani, Baadshah and Ankhiyo Se Goli Maare, was rushed to a hospital in Bandra where he was declared dead.
With a nearly perfect comic timing, Khan tickled our funny bones for more than two decades. Here we bring some of his best performances.
1. Ninja Chacha (Hello Brother, 1999)
Razak’s character added an edge to this hilarious Salman Khan-starrer. He played Ninja Chacha whose anger knew no boundaries.
2. Fayyaz Takkar (Ankhiyo Se Goli Maare, 2002)
One of Razak’s most popular characters, Fayyaz Takkar played a local goon who demolished thick walls with one head-butt. With Asrani, Govinda and Kader Khan for company, Razak sparked a laughter riot in this film.
3. Nawab Changezi (Ishq, 1997)
His short but impressive act as Changezi was quite a treat. This also took a lot of burden off Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan’s. together, they created a deadly comic team.
4. Manikchand (Baadshah, 1999)
From his beard to his acting, Razak left mark in every frame of this Shah Rukh Khan film.
5. Taxi driver (Amdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya, 2001)
A funny goon-turned-taxi driver added a lot of charm to this Govinda-starrer.
6. Urdu-speaking secretary to Kader Khan (Joru Ka Ghulam, 2000)
Kader Khan and Razak Khan, two masters of comedy. Just imagine what could have happened when the two met in Joru Ka Ghulam.
7. Popat (Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3, 2016)
Razak was last seen on the silver screen as Popat in Ekta Kapoor’s Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3.
