Actor Tisca Chopra, who has balanced her acting career with a mix of small budget entertainers as well as commercial films, says the audience will never find her doing any “rubbish” projects.
Actor Tisca Chopra, who has balanced her acting career with a mix of small budget entertainers as well as commercial films, says the audience will never find her doing any “rubbish” projects.
“There should be a balance of both commercial success and critically acclaimed (films). I want to do commercial, but sensible films. I can assure the you that audience will never find me doing rubbish roles. I will never do things which I can’t relate to,” Tisca said.
“I would like to play roles of some great Indian women like Indira Gandhi amd Sarojini Naidu or if there is any role like that of a journalist like Barkha Dutt or an athlete like PT Usha, I would be more than happy to do those roles,” said the 39-year-old, who has featured in movies like Taare Zameen Par, Firaaq, Mirch and Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji.
Tisca is glad that she is a part of showbiz at a “beautiful time” for Indian actors.
