Parineeti Chopra is wearing the sun in her hair! The actor was seen rocking bright red hair after a salon session in Mumbai on Thursday.

Is it the season of drastic hair makeovers in Bollywood? After Sonam Kapoor’s stylish new perm, Parineeti Chopra is the latest actor to really shake things up with her hairstyle.

The actor was spotted in Mumbai on Thursday, sporting bright red hair as she walked out of a salon. Dressed in a big denim jacket and flip-flops, Parineeti hurriedly walked to her car but just in time for the paparazzi to click her pictures. “I wanted to try something i have never done before. So Ruchika the film’s producer suggested we go red! Loved the idea so went ahead. But must say its veryyyy high maintenance its teaching me how to be a more patient human being, Haha!” the actor said in a statement.

Parineeti spent the entire last week chilling in Maldives. She posted pictures from the scenic beaches and of the blue waters of her tourist destination. She enjoyed scuba diving, breakfast in pool and just simply doing nothing. Check out pics from her vacation:

Parineeti will be next seen in Namastey England with Arjun Kapoor. She will also be seen in Jabaraiya Jodi opposite her Hasee to Phasee co-star, Sidharth Malhotra.
