People who ask me about marriage are all brain dead: Salman Khan

Salman Khan comes clear on his much-hyped hug with SRK and adds that he would fight with arch rival Salman at the box-office. The actor is also fed up with questions regarding his marriage, reports Debasmita Ghosh.

When you ask actor Salman Khan about his much-hyped hug with arch-rival Shah Rukh Khan last month, the actor doesn’t get angry as one would expect. Instead, he plays the fool, acts deaf. “Kya? Kyaaa poocha? Sunai nahi de raha hai,” he says in jest, scratching his ears. “Ramadan is a time to spread love ... so I thought that was the best thing to do ... I mean, I was just ‘being human’,” he says.

The 47-year-old adds in the same breath, “Abse humari ladai box office pe hogi ... Maarna hai toh kaam se maaro varna aese kisi ko maarke chale gaye toh kya faayda ... Jaise woh naya ladka aya hai, kya naam hai? Haan, Ranbir Kapoor, dekho, kitna kaam kar raha hai!”

We’re left guessing though, if that reference to Ranbir comes up for the latter’s films or his reported affair with Sallu’s ex, actor Katrina Kaif. That apart, it’s questions related to his marriage that are putting him off. “I think people who ask me this same ghisa-pita question are all brain dead. Years back kabhi kisi ne yeh question pooch liya hoga aur maine bhi style marke kuch masaledaar answer de diya hoga ... bussss. This question has become a ‘must-ask’ for me, stereotype bana diya yaar!” retorts the actor, adding, “Arre shaadi ke liye koi partner bhi toh honi chahiye. Uparwaale ki marzi ke bina patta bhi nahin hilta, biwi kahan se ayegi!”
