With three releases in six months -- Highway, 2 States and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya -- Alia Bhatt is really busy with promotions. Of late, promotional activities for Alia Bhatt have involved a lot of singing and dancing, which the young actor says is taking a toll on her.

"It’s not easy to go on stage and sing in front of large crowds. But I guess it’s important to have fun while promoting a film. By the end of the day, your mind starts playing tricks on you as you are tired going from one event to another," she explains.

Alia adds that if a film is relatable to the youth, it needs to be promoted aggressively in places like malls and pubs.

She says, "Promoting a film should be a time to go all-out. Even those who don’t have an interest in the film should want to see it by the time we are done. Promotions are a very polite way of begging."
