Riding high on the success of Sacred Games, it is indeed a happy birthday for Saif Ali Khan. So, let’s begin by going out and saying it: Happy Birthday Saif! The actor turns 48 on Thursday but it seems wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, children Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan and the rest of the family were in no mood to wait.

On Thursday night, Kareena, Karisma, Sara, Kunal Kemmu, Soha Ali Khan gathered together for a midnight birthday party that was all about a gorgeous cake, golden balloons and birthday boomerangs. While birthday boy Saif stood out with a flowing beard and a red bandana, it was Kareena who was photographer’s favourite. Saif should not mind as we also saw her giving him a tonne of kisses in a video shared by Karisma.

In a lace top and grey pants, Kareena was every bit the stylish begum. Her sister Karisma Kapoor came in a black dress. Saif’s daughter and Bollywood’s debutant to look forward to, Sara Ali Khan, wore a gold velvet dress and it was hard to look away. Sara also celebrated her birthday earlier this week and it might have been a joint birthday party for Saif and her.

The only one missing from the inside photos and boomerang videos that Saif’s family put up was son Taimur Ali Khan. Bollywood’s favourite toddler was spotted earlier with his dad but was missing from Saif’s birthday party.

After a string of flops such as Kaalakandi and Chef, Saif made a spectacular return to form with Netflix show Sacred Games. The show has not only garnered great reviews but has also booked future seasons. Directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, the show had Saif as a cop, Sartaj Singh.
