Salman Khan’s Race 3 does great ‘business’ at box office, mints ₹67 crore in just two days
Salman Khan has delivered a massive hit with Race 3. The film registered a big jump on day two after a stellar collection on day one.
Salman Khan is finally back as the Sultan of the box office. The actor’s latest movie, Race 3, had registered great first two days at the ticket windows with a total collection of ₹67 crore.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted fresh figures on Sunday. “#Race3 sees a big jump and phenomenal GROWTH on Day 2, collects 38.14 crs. It takes the total collection of 2 days to 67.31 crs, which is massive! Fri - 29.17, Sat - 38.14, Total - 67.31. @SKFilmsOfficial @tipsofficial @BeingSalmanKhan @RameshTaurani @remodsouza,” he wrote in his tweet.
Race 3 gave Salman one of his biggest all-time Eid openers with ₹29 crores collected on day one. In a tweet shared by Taran on Saturday, Race 3 ranked third on the list of the high-earning first-day figures of Salman’s films released on Eid. The top spots were taken by Sultan ( ₹36 crore) and Ek Tha Tiger ( ₹32 crore). Here’s the full list:
2010: Dabangg ₹14.50 cr
2011: Bodyguard ₹21.60 cr
2012: Ek Tha Tiger ₹32.93 cr
2014: Kick ₹26.40 cr
2015: Bajrangi Bhaijaan ₹27.25 cr
2016: Sultan ₹36.54 cr
2017: Tubelight ₹21.15 cr
2018: Race 3 ₹29.17 cr
Race 3 is directed by Remo D’Souza and also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah.
Salman will now move on to his next film, Bharat, directed by his Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan director, Ali Abbas Zafar. The film will mark the Bollywood comeback of Priyanka Chopra, who has been working abroad for the last couple of years.
Salman currently hosts the TV game show, Dus Ka Dum, and is expected to return as host on the new season of Bigg Boss.
