Actors are usually surrounded by an army of personal assistants: make-up men, hairstylists and fashion designers. Recently, actor Shahid Kapoor did something special for his staff. The actor who was in Dubai for the promotions of his latest release, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, went to a local mall and shopped for them. Apparently, he personally handpicked each gift such as gadgets, perfumes and accesories.

A source close to Shahid says, “He picked up their (team) preferences after conversations with each of them. This was a token of appreciation for his staff, who made this journey easy.”

We’re told that his staff was truly ‘overwhelmed’.
