Trade analyst Taran Adarsh even suggested in s string of tweets that the opening weekend numbers could touch ₹20 crore, which is ‘fabulous.’

Neerja’s opening day collection is even more impressive considering that it released only on 700 screens pan India. It is expected to do better over the weekend thanks to a strong word-of-mouth publicity.

The film, which was released on February 19, received tremendous support from industry insiders as they boldly came out in support of Fear versus Neerja campaign.
