Many of those Bollywood personalities invited for PM-designate Narendra Modi's swearing-in on Monday took to Twitter to congratulate him and share their excitement.
Hema Malini said when she travels to Delhi, she will "carry with me all ur good wishes to Modiji for a successful & fruitful 5 years of good governance!"
Anupam Kher tweeted an image of himself with son Sikandar.

Author Chetan Bhagat said today was the result of "a billion choices crystallised".
Vivek Oberoi tweeted, "I feel honoured & privileged to be invited to witness history in the making! Today will be a golden day to remember!" In an earlier tweet, he said India will emerge "united, progressive and powerful".
Madhur Bhandarkar's tweet said, "Delhi beckons! Feel privileged, honoured and proud that I'll be able to witness in person the historic moment of swearing-in of Modiji today."
