Actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone recently left for London for an event and guess who they bumped into. It was none other than Varun Dhawan, who rushed to catch a London-bound flight after attending the teaser launch of his film Kalank. Varun shared a hilarious video of his encounter with the couple on his Instagram stories calling them his ‘adopted parents’.

The trio can be seen seated in a cart at the airport with Varun in the front and Ranveer and Deepika behind him. As Varun introduces them as his ‘adopted parents’, he talks about how they took care of him during the flight. Deepika adds, “We made sure he’s had his dinner, we made sure he slept well, we made sure he’s had breakfast and we made sure he went to the loo.”

Ranveer and Deepika were spotted at the airport in winter wear while heading to London. The couple walked hand in hand as the paparazzi clicked their pictures.

Varun had joined his Kalank team including producer Karan Johar and co-stars Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt for the teaser launch of the film. Wearing a white sherwani, Varun had a lot of fun with Alia. He plays a common man named Zafar in the film, who is in love with Alia’s character Roop.

Kalank is Karan’s father Yash Johar’s dream project and is scheduled to hit the theatres on April 19.
