Twinkle's injury hampered Akshay's Valentine's Day plans

Akshay Kumar’s Valentine’s Day plans with wife Twinkle Khanna went for a toss due to her injury.

Akshay Kumar had planned a romantic getaway with his wife, Twinkle Khanna for Valentine’s Day (February 14), but things didn’t actually go according to plan.

“Akshay wanted to take Twinkle out of the country for two-three days, but then he decided to travel to Goa since she loves the place; they also own a sprawling bungalow (on Anjuna beach) there. But a couple of days before they were to leave, Twinkle hurt her foot badly. So, the two had to abort their V-Day plans,” says an insider.

The injury resulted in the doctors putting a cast on Twinkle’s foot. “Her movements got completely restricted. So, the trip became next to impossible. In fact, Twinkle had gone for Aarav’s (their son) stage performance (at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival) with the cast on her foot,” adds the insider.
