RBI registers case against SBI for depositing fake notes
The Reserve Bank of India today registered a case against the manager of State Bank of India’s PPN branch after 10 fake notes of Rs 100 denomination were allegedly deposited.

The Reserve Bank of India on Friday registered a case against the manager of State Bank of India’s PPN branch after 10 fake notes of Rs 100 denomination were allegedly deposited.
According to a police spokesperson, an FIR was registered by the manager of RBI VP Singh at Colonelganj police station against the PPN branch manager of SBI for depositing 10 fake notes of Rs 100 denomination in RBI’s currency chest on September 15.
