Due to supply chain constraints, the US auto giant is struggling with the production of the SUV.
Bronco, a Ford Motor Company SUV that debuted in 2021, can get you up to $2,500 (approx. INR 2 lakh) in cash or as discount. For this, however, customers awaiting deliveries of their Bronco unit should cancel their order, or book some other car manufactured by the American auto giant.

$2,500 incentive on Ford Bronco
As per carsdirect.com, Ford is giving the offer for MY (model year) 2023 of Bronco. Accordingly, the discount will be given if a buyer changes his booking from the SUV to another vehicle manufactured by the company. Customers can change to any one of these seven models, MY 2023 each: Escape, Bronco Sport, Edge, Explorer, Expedition, Ranger and F-150. The deal is available on vehicles with sales date through April 3, 2023.
On the other hand, the incentive will be given as cash if a buyer cancels the booking altogether and does not go for another model.
Why the incentive?
Supply chain constraints, that have affected variants of this SUV with high-end features, have made Ford come up with such an offer. The Dearborn-headquartered carmaker, which is struggling with the production of Bronco, has not revealed the latest booking figures and pending orders for the model.
At present, the SUV has a waiting period running into several months.
