Skoda Auto Volkswagen India posted record domestic sales of 117,000 units in 2025, with total volumes including exports standing at 159,500 units.






Skoda Auto Volkswagen India (SAVWIPL) reported its highest-ever domestic sales in 2025, selling 117,000 units in India, a year-on-year growth of around 36 percent. Including exports, cumulative sales for the year stood at 159,500 units. The company also crossed the milestone of producing over two million Made-in-India vehicles.

Exports crossed 715,000 units cumulatively in 2025. During the year, SAVWIPL also expanded its export footprint by entering and evaluating new markets across the GCC and ASEAN regions.

Brand-wise performance across segments
Volkswagen maintained its lead in the premium sedan segment, with the Virtus holding a 38 percent market share year-to-date. The initial batch of the Golf GTI was sold out within days of its launch. Skoda reported 107 percent growth, led by demand for the sub-4-metre Kylaq and renewed interest in the Octavia RS.
In the luxury segment, Audi introduced the Q7 Signature Edition, Q3 and Q5 Signature Lines, and the RSQ8 Performance. Lamborghini launched the Temerario, while the Revuelto was awarded ‘Super Car of the Year’. Porsche expanded its network to 13 sales points and introduced new experiential formats.

Network expansion and new brand addition
SAVWIPL expanded its customer network to 700 touchpoints across India in 2025. Bentley joined the Group as its sixth brand, with new dealerships established in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi.
