Haryana police battalion to remain stationed at Manesar

Haryana government has decided to station a battalion of the state police in the industrial area of Manesar to "instill a sense of security among the industries" and ensure that the police is immediately quell any labour unrest or criminal activity in the area.

Haryana director general of police Ranjiv Dalal said the battalion would be headed by commandant Yogender Singh Nehra. This battalion would help only in maintaining law and order in Manesar and would not be used for any other purpose.
