Khaira asks CM to remove NK Sharma from CPS's post

In an open letter written to Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, state Congress spokesman Sukhpal Singh Khaira on Monday said the CM may feign ignorance about corrupt practices and gross misuse of office by chief parliamentary secretary (CPS) NK Sharma, even as the latter had been indicted by two departments of the state government.

Khaira asked the CM to drop Sharma from the CPS's post "without any delay and the registration of criminal cases against Sharma and his company for cheating, fraud and embezzling funds of hundreds of innocent investors in his projects that are completely illegal, illegitimate and without government sanction."
