Parts of Sector 69, especially the open areas, continue to remain filthy.

Vacant plots, including the one opposite a private hospital here, have predictably been turned into dumping grounds.

The garbage in the vacant plot opposite the hospital continues to rot and emits an unbearable stench.

The sectors do not have an enclosed garbage collection and segregation centre.

Residents say that the workers employed by the civic body do not clean the sectors regularly.
In the absence of a garbage centre and a dedicate workforce to clean the locality, residents continue to dump the garbage on roads.

Green belts in Sectors 66 and 69 remain in a state of neglect, as is evident from the construction debris frequently dumped in parks in the two sectors.

To make matters worse, residents burn garbage in the open, which further pollutes the environment.
