Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has notified the change in holiday on account of the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh.

PU spokesperson said the university and its affiliated colleges would remain closed on January 7 instead of January 5. The earlier notification of holiday for January 5 had been cancelled, the spokesperson added.
