The scholar Kuldeep Kaur, worked with Vipin Bhatnagar from PU and professor Sanjib Mishra from University of South Carolina, USA, on the NOvA experiment for Fermilab.

Through the experiment, she estimated the neutrino flux in the beam to reduce the systematic errors in the neutrino interaction cross-sections. Fer milab is USA’s premier particle physics laboratory, which collaborates with institutions from around the world, including PU. United States secretary of energy, Ernest Moniz, interacted with Kaur, and other young international researchers.
