Rajoana case: Punjab CM in Delhi to meet legal luminaries

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has dashed to New Delhi to meet legal luminaries on the death warrants issued by the Chandigarh Court for execution of Babbar Khalsa militant Balwant Singh Rajoana at the Patiala central jail on March 31.

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has dashed to New Delhi to meet legal luminaries on the death warrants issued by the Chandigarh Court for execution of Babbar Khalsa militant Balwant Singh Rajoana at the Patiala central jail on March 31.

According to Badal’s media advisor Harcharan Bains, chief minister is scheduled to meet the President on Wednesday for clemency to Rajoana, a co-accused in the assassination of then Punjab chief minister Beant Singh on August 31, 1995.
