SAD spokesman Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said that the statement was "highly provocative, undemocratic, illegal and aimed at disturbing peace" in the state.

The SAD urged the state election panel to immediately take serious note of the "derogatory and mischievous" statement of the Congress leader.
