Both the Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Communist party of India-Marxist (CPM) on Friday expressed their disillusionment over the PPP chief's decision of accepting the Congress offer for Bathinda with the CPM even announcing that it would to go it alone in case of such an eventuality.
The CPM would contest 4 seats - Ludhiana, Sangrur, Jalandhar and Anandpur Sahib, while the CPI would field its candidates from Ferozepur, Faridkot and Amritsar seats as the Left parties reached a consensus against Manpreet Badal's move.
