Seven AAP candidates in Punjab crorepatis

Of the 13 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates for the Lok Sabha seats in Punjab, seven have declared assets of more than Rs 1 crore each.

Of the 13 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates for the Lok Sabha seats in Punjab, seven have declared assets of more than Rs 1 crore each.

Dr Daljit Singh, contesting in Amritsar, leads the tally with total assets of Rs 25.17 crore, and is eighth richest of all 253 candidates in the state. The second richest AAP candidate is Harvinder Singh Phoolka, with assets of Rs 7 crore.

Dharamvir Gandhi (Patiala), Rs 4.51 crore; Himmat Singh Shergill (Anandpur Sahib), Rs 4.44 crore; Harinder Singh Khalsa (Fatehgarh Sahib), Rs 3.55 crore; Sucha Singh Chottepur from Gurdaspur, Rs 3 crore; and Bhagwant Mann (Sangrur), Rs 1.84 crore, runs the AAP rich list. The rest six AAP contenders are lakhpatis.
