However, as the Western Disturbances (WDs) would be low-intensity, the weather is expected to remain dry.

While the first WD will approach the region on February 5, the next will arrive around February 8. Due to cloudy weather, the day temperature may decrease, while the night temperature will rise.

IMD Chandigarh director Manmohan Singh said the weather will remain partly cloudy with little chance of rain.

Meanwhile, the maximum temperature rose from 23.3°C on Friday to 24.6°C on Saturday, four degrees above normal. The minimum temperature also witnessed an increase from 9.2°C to 10.4°C, also four degrees above normal.

Over the next three days, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 24°C, while the minimum temperature will remain at around 11°C.
