It crossed the border on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. After spotting it near pillar number 124/48, the BSF troops opened fire to shoot it down.

On Wednesday, the BSF informed the Sarai Amanat Khan police. In a joint operation, they recovered the drone from that area. Inspector Parmjit Singh Virdi said the drone which has been recovered resembled those that have been recovered earlier.
