A spat broke out between members of Hindu organisations and a Nihang group outside the office of the commissioner of police here on Tuesday over allegations of vandalising a police vehicle on Monday.

According to police, members of Hindu organisations had taken out a march from Chaura Bazaar and reached the CP office to meet the DCP over the attack on Shiv Sena leader Rajiv Tandon’s pilot vehicle. The presence of a Nihang group at the spot led to a heated exchange between the two sides.
