Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann heads to Bengaluru for naturopathy treatment

On February 16, the CM went to Moga to attend an event related to his government’s anti-drug campaign and returned to the hospital in the evening after addressing a public meeting. He was discharged from the hospital on February 19.

A week after being discharged from the hospital, chief minister Bhagwant Mann went to Bengaluru for a week-long naturopathy treatment at a private nature care centre. Mann left Bengaluru on Wednesday evening after inaugurating the first phase of the reconstruction of a canal in Ferozepur. The CM is expected to return to Chandigarh before March 5, people aware of his travel programme said. The budget session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha is scheduled to commence on March 6.

Mann was admitted to a private hospital in Mohali on February 15 after he complained of exhaustion and was flown by chopper from Dhuri in Sangrur. On February 16, the CM went to Moga to attend an event related to his government’s anti-drug campaign and returned to the hospital in the evening after addressing a public meeting.
