Sangrur SP Navreet Singh Virk awarded President’s Police Medal for meritorious service

The award comes in recognition of Virk’s dedication, professionalism and exemplary contribution to his duties

On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, Sangrur superintendent of police Navreet Singh Virk has been awarded President’s Police Medal for meritorious service, in recognition of his dedication, professionalism and exemplary contribution to his duties

During the last three years, Virak, who is deputed with the Punjab Bureau of Investigation, has received 12 DGP’s commendation discs for outstanding professional service. In 2025, he was also honoured with the chief minister’s medal on Republic Day.
